Okay I have a great recipe I found for cupcake & Harry Potter lovers alike.
BUTTER BEER CUPCAKES….YUM!
Butter Beer is what Harry & friends drink in the movies. In real life it’s pretty much: cream soda, heavy whipping cream, butterscotch ice cream topping and some sugar. SO GOOD, but really sweet. Anyways…..
My friend Tyler and I decided to try this recipe we found that is butter beer but in cupcake form.

These cupcakes are AMAZING. The icing tastes just like the topping for butterbeer and the ganache in the middle of the cupcake is butterscotch! The cake isn’t really sweet but with everything combined it is VERY sweet!
I just am dying to share this show with you all! For those who do not know TLC has a show from the UK called “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding”. I am loving this show! It is so interesting to learn about these people and their wedding ceremonies! There are a few things about gypsies you have to know before watching:
- Gypsies are travelers. They live in mostly England and Ireland. They set up trailers and live in them in their own community.
- They like to keep there life hidden from the outside world (non-gypsies)
- They don’t follow normal laws. They tend to solve things among themselves whether that being fighting it out or settling rationally.
- They have HUGE weddings and HUGE is an understatement. They have HUGE dresses, HUGE venues, HUGE receptions, etc… Girls are pretty much born with the dream of their wedding day.
- Women aren’t really allowed to hold jobs or have much leadership. Men want them to cook and clean the house.
- Gypsies don’t have invitations for their weddings. Word travels quickly so anyone and everyone can come to the weddings.
- There is no meeting people. Girls can’t be alone with boys. The only place to meet guys or girls is at a wedding.
- They have a tradition called “grabbing” that is when a boy grabs a girl and forces them to kiss.
They pretty much dress like guidos and guidettes too!
